Release Date: February 2, 2002 KM Communications, Inc., and its subsidiaries, selects T.Z. Sawyer Technical Consultants
as its engineering/technical consultant for its various AM/FM/TV/LPTV stations. KM Communications, Inc., of Skokie, Illinois, is a group owner of over 115 television and radio stations across
the United States, Guam, and Saipan. They are in the process of building several radio and TV stations
in the coming months. T.Z. Sawyer Technical Consultants provides technical consulting services to fulfill the
distinctive requirements of AM, FM and TV stations worldwide. Services provided
including frequency allocation studies; site selection criteria; preparation of FCC Forms
and engineering exhibits, including auxiliary broadcast applications. Specialized services include design and adjustment of AM Radio Station directional
antenna systems; field strength measurements; measurement of RF radiation exposure
conditions; temporary site survey facilities; station inspection and equipment evaluation
and "due diligent" inspections on behalf of prospective buyers and financial institutions. Company History T.Z. Sawyer Technical Consultants, was established on January 1, 1990 as a
Communication and Broadcasting technical consulting firm. During the firm's first year
in business, its primary focus was to providing technical assistance to AM and FM radio
stations. Since 1990, the company has expanded the services it provides to include all
application and licensing forms and exhibits filed with the Federal Communications
Commission and Federal Aviation Administration concerning communication systems. Technical services are provided by the firm to fulfill the distinctive requirements of AM,
FM and TV stations worldwide, including frequency allocation studies; site selection
criteria; preparation of FCC Forms and engineering exhibits, including auxiliary
broadcast applications. Specialized services include design and adjustment of AM directional antenna systems;
field strength measurements; measurement of RF radiation exposure conditions;
temporary site survey facilities; station inspection and equipment evaluation and "due
diligent" inspections on behalf of prospective buyers and financial institutions. Group supervisory service provides guidance for multi-station clients. An extensive
in-house computer facility has been developed for database and application computing,
including on-line retrieval of FCC public notices and proposed rule makings. The firm
maintains offices in the Washington, D.C. area (Bethesda, Maryland) providing
advantageous access to FCC staff members and public records. T.Z. Sawyer Technical Consultants is headed by Senior Partner, Timothy Z. Sawyer.
Mr. Sawyer has over 35 years experience as a broadcast engineer and consultant. He
is a member of the Broadcast Pioneers and IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic
Engineers). The firm is an associated member of the National Association of
Broadcasters and the Arkansas Broadcasters Association. Managing Partner, Trisha Ford, joined the firm in July of 2000. In October of 2001 she
was named Managing Partner of the firm. Ms. Ford brings to the firm a strong
